The statement reads that the talks focused on questions of mutual interest. Noble underlined the importance of Interpol and its participation in international databases, as well as the importance of the application of Interpol's information system.
Participants in the meeting concluded that the Serbian Ministry of Interior and the Belgrade National Bureau, as its integral part, respect all Interpol's standards, conduct exchange of information according to rules and participate in all international databases.
Successful cooperation with Interpol is also seen in the fact that all international arrest warrants are distributed through this channel and that annually over 50 people are arrested on Serbia's warrants and 27 people on other countries' warrants, while some 54,000 messages have been exchanged with Interpol in the previous period.
Serbia takes over the membership in Interpol from the former state union of Serbia-Montenegro, so it will be only stated at the General Assembly that Serbia is the legal successor of the membership.
