The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management stated that a Serbian delegation, led by Minister Professor Dragan Glamočić, PhD, attended a meeting of representatives of Bambi and Luckin Coffee in Xiamen.
The meeting highlighted the importance of future cooperation between one of Serbia’s most successful food companies and the leading Chinese brand in the coffee industry.
Glamočić expressed his belief that cooperation with Luckin Coffee will bring mutual benefits, noting that Serbia will gain a stronger presence on the Chinese market, whereas the Chinese market will get a product that is original, innovative and with a proven tradition of quality.
The management of Luckin Coffee emphasised that they are proud to have the opportunity to cooperate with Bambi, as well as to offer their consumers a product with a strong identity and quality.
They also stated that by introducing Plazma Cheesecake and Plazma Shake to their range, they seek to demonstrate that they believe in the brand’s potential.
Since its founding in 2017, Luckin Coffee has grown into an industry giant, becoming the fastest-growing company in the coffee industry and the quickest Chinese company to be listed on Nasdaq.
In the past period alone, the number of its coffee shops has exceeded 20,000, while investments in the factory in Xiamen, worth approximately $500 million, have enabled the production of 55,000 tonnes of coffee per year.
