Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starović participated in an informal meeting of the EU Council in Copenhagen and on that occasion spoke with several ministers of the European Union member states.
In his presentation, Starović pointed out that Serbia, although not satisfied with the current dynamics of the negotiation process, is continuing the reform activities that lead our country towards EU membership with undiminished intensity.
Serbia is not waiting for EU membership to implement reforms, but is strengthening its own institutions, improving conditions for citizens and the economy, and all of this is essentially bringing us closer to European standards, the Minister said.
Starović emphasised that the gradual integration model is already bringing results in the form of faster and cheaper payments through SEPA, as well as early access to the "Roam Like at Home" regime for our citizens who use mobile phones abroad, according to a statement from the Ministry of European Integration.
