Serbian Minister of Energy and Mining Radomir Naumov presented today a plaque to CIGRE Secretary General Jean Kowal for contribution to the development of the energy sector, as part of events marking the 150th birth anniversary of Nikola Tesla.

The guest from Paris, who has been president of the French electricity company (EDF) for many years, arrived in Belgrade at the invitation of the Serbian government on the occasion of the150th birth anniversary of the great Serbian scientist.
CIGRE is the largest technical association in the world and the abbreviation stands for the International Council on Large Electric Systems, and 56 countries actively work within this association. The Serbian national committee YUKO CIGRE has been a member of international CIGRE for 50 years.
