Second phase of reconstruction of KBC Zvezdara announced

Serbian Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic said today on the occasion of 70 years of Zvezdara Clinical Centre (KBC Zvezdara) that the second phase of the reconstruction of this hospital will begin soon.
Milosavljevic said that works at KBC Zvezdara, worth €3.3 million will be partly financed by funds from the republic and city budget, and added that the reconstruction will significantly improve diagnostics and treatment conditions.
The works include the reconstruction of the heating system, polyclinic, internal medicine and surgery wards, as well as the repair of lifts, replacement of wooden fittings, installation of new and reparation of existing sewage systems.
The reconstruction is part of the health ministry's project for emergency reconstruction of health facilities in Serbia, financed by a loan worth €50 million from the European Investment Bank.
