Minister without portfolio in charge of gender equality, prevention of violence against women and economic and political empowerment of women Tatjana Macura attended the official opening of the second international Yerevan Dialogue forum.
This year’s Yerevan Dialogue, held under the slogan Navigating the Unknown, features an upgraded format with ministerial-level participation and focuses on analysing global geopolitical trends and the challenges of the contemporary world, including digital transformation and the redefinition of international relations.
The forum brings together high-ranking political officials, experts and civil society representatives from across Europe and beyond, aiming to create new spaces for cooperation and policy exchange.
Opening addresses were delivered by Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan.
Macura highlighted the importance of Serbian representation at this forum, which addresses the most pressing issues of our time.
Participation in the Yerevan Dialogue confirms Serbia’s commitment to following global developments and contributing to a shared understanding of the challenges facing contemporary societies, the Minister concluded.
