Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starović emphasised today, during a meeting with a delegation of experts and advisers from the United States Congress, that Serbia attaches great importance to the development and enhancement of Serbia-US relations, based on mutual respect and strengthened political and economic cooperation.

Starović stated that Serbia remains firmly committed to strategic dialogue with the US in areas of mutual interest, including the economy, energy, new technologies, security and regional stability.
The interlocutors exchanged views on Serbia’s European path, regional cooperation and current geopolitical challenges.
The Minister reiterated that membership in the European Union is Serbia’s strategic commitment and that the country remains dedicated to implementing reforms and preserving peace and stability in the region.
The discussion particularly highlighted the importance of intensifying parliamentary and institutional contacts between Serbia and the US, as well as the need to strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation in the period ahead.
