While opening the factory Zlatibor Vode, owned by Simeks Group from Subotica, Ilic recommended that investors also invest in their own town.
He explained that the factory's capacity is 10,000 bottles per hour. The water springs from the ground at a rate of 72 litres per second and is rich in oxygen and minerals, as well as natrium, he added.
Around 100 workers are engaged in the process and another 50 jobs will be opened by year's end, said Ilic.
Serbian Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Zoran Loncar also attended the opening ceremony.
