Serbian Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic announced today that a project of urgent reconstruction of health centres across Serbia will be presented in the next government session. The project would be financed by funds from the National Investment Plan.
Milosavljevic said that health centres should be the highest priority for the government and announced that works will start during summer.
Milosavljevic, who was on visit to the Uzice health centre today, said that reconstruction of departments at this health centre cost €3.2 million, which is part of €50 million project financed through a loan by the European Investment Bank (EIB).
The project will cover another 19 hospitals across Serbia and the Torlak Institute of Immunology and Virology.
