Ministry of Education finances construction of multi-purpose facility at Kragujevac's Faculty of Theology

Serbian Minister of Education and Sport Slobodan Vuksanovic today visited the Faculty of Theology in Kragujevac, where the construction of a sport and cultural centre began recently, financed by the Serbian Ministry of Education and Sport.
Vuksanovic said that the Ministry will finance in installments the construction of the facility, which covers some 3,000 square metres and will cost 73 million dinars.
The construction land for this facility, which will include a gym and an amphitheatre, was provided by the Kragujevac City Assembly free-of-charge.
Bishop of Sumadija Jovan said that the construction of this centre with the funds provided by the Ministry of Education and Sport, is a wonderful example of the cooperation between the church and the government on the education of the young.
The centre will be completely finished by the end of 2007, said Zoran Krstic, Rector of the Faculty.
