Serbian Minister of Education and Sport Slobodan Vuksanovic announced today that a new secondary medical school will be built in Novi Pazar.
Vuksanovic visited the location and said that construction works will start in September. He added that another seven new schools will be built thanks to a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB).
He said that the loan amounts to €25 million and will be used for construction of eight and reconstruction of another ten schools across Serbia.
After meeting with Novi Pazar municipality president Sulejman Ugljanin, the Minister commended the initiative of the local authorities to build additional facilities in existing schools.
Ugljanin expressed satisfaction because of efforts that the government has made to create conditions for the education of young people in Novi Pazar as well as in other parts of Serbia.
The Minister discussed school reform and Bologna process with university students in Novi Pazar.
