Advancing economic, scientific and technological cooperation between Serbia and Cyprus

Serbian Minister of International Economic Relations Milan Parivodic signed today a Memorandum of Understanding with representatives of the Planning Bureau of the Cypriot Ministry of Finance, which envisages improvement of bilateral relations in the areas of economy, science and technology.
In a telephone statement to the news agency Tanjug, Parivodic said that a Cypriot-Serbian association has been formed with Cypriot companies in the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce, whose members are Cypriot companies which have already invested in Serbia.
The Minister said that he expects Serbian companies to join the association as well, and added that Cyprus supports Serbia’s entry into the European Union.
