Average gross monthly pay goes over 20,000 dinars in April

Serbia's average monthly gross salary in April rose 11.38 percent in nominal terms and 9.84 percent in real terms from a month earlier, to 20,807 dinars, according to the Serbian Statistics Office figures.
The average take-home salary in April was 14,395 dinars, up 11.49 percent in nominal terms and 9.95 percent in real terms from the previous month.
Industrial sectors paid average monthly gross salaries of 19,587 dinars, up 13.51 percent and 11.94 percent against February in nominal and real terms, respectively. The average net salary rose 13.61 percent in nominal terms and 12.04 percent in real terms, to 13.546 dinars.
Non-industrial sectors reported average gross salaries of 23,784 dinars in April, up 7.27 percent in nominal terms and 5.79 percent in real terms. The average net salary rose 7.41 percent in nominal terms and 5.93 percent in real terms, to 16,467 dinars, the Statistics Office said in a statement today.
