Prime Minister Miloš Vučević visited a food retail outlet in Pirot today to ensure that the Best Price campaign has taken hold throughout Serbia, stating that stores will be checked throughout the country, not only in Belgrade, Novi Sad or Niš.
Vučević, who arrived in Pirot together with Minister for Public Investment Darko Glišić to tour the completion of works and the reconstruction of the Multifunctional Cultural Centre, noted that citizens can see for themselves that all product categories have at least one segment at the best price.
A family can now save from RSD 8,000 to RSD 22,000 per month, depending on the type of product and store, the Prime Minister said, adding that not all stores had the same prices for specific products or the same margins prior to the campaign.
The Prime Minister emphasised that he is dissatisfied with the fact that there are a couple of municipalities that do not have a single store in the Best Price campaign system.
Vučević announced that he will visit other parts of Serbia and that he will show up unannounced so that the merchants cannot prepare everything in advance, and at the same time expressed his wish that local products be part of the campaign.
