Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, continued regular consultations with line ministers today, during which they discussed the dynamics of the implementation of current projects and upcoming activities.

Macut spoke with Minister for Family Care and Demography Jelena Žarić Kovačević, Minister for Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue Demo Beriša, Minister for Public Investment Darko Glišić, Minister of Rural Welfare Milan Krkobabić and Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić.
Žarić Kovačević said that the Alimony Fund, through which the state has become the guarantor of alimony payments, is being fully implemented and that a total of 889 children are currently receiving timely support.
The state has so far allocated almost €28 million for implementation of the programme of subsidies for the purchase of the first real estate based on the birth of a child, she underlined.
Glišić emphasised that, when it comes to capital projects in the field of building construction, which are under the jurisdiction of that ministry, there are currently 67 active construction sites throughout Serbia.
The minister also pointed out that the issue of water supply is the dominant topic of talks with citizens.
Krkobabić emphasised that the renovation of cultural centres and the purchase of rural households are yielding results and stated that the interest of young people in purchasing rural houses, with subsidies from the Ministry, is great, with 4,450 houses in many villages having been allocated in this way so far.
During the talks between Macut and Gašič, special attention was paid to activities in the field of military health care and activities related to serving mandatory military service.
