Director of the Serbian Treasury Vesna Dzinic signed in Luxembourg today, on behalf of Minister of Finance Mladjan Dinkic, an agreement between the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Serbian government on a €120 million loan to build the E75 motorway between Belgrade and Novi Sad.
This is one of the most favourable loans Serbia has received from European financial institutions, with a seven-year grace period and a 25-year repayment period, according to a statement.
Today and tomorrow, talks will continue with the EIB on a €25 million loan for upgrades of Novi Sad’s and Nis’s water supply networks, with a five-year grace period and repayment over 20 years.
