At the invitation of Prime Minister Adrian Nastase, Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica has arrived to Romania for an official visit, where he will discuss bilateral and regional cooperation, integration processes, and stability and safety in the Balkans with Romanian officials.

Nastase received the Serbian delegation with military honors and playing of anthems in front of the Romanian government building, after which the two prime ministers began the closed-door talks.
During the one-day visit to Romania, Kostunica is scheduled to meet with Romanian President Ion Iliescu, and presidents of the Chamber of Representatives and the Senate Valer Dorneanu and Nicolae Vacaroiu.
The Serbian delegation, including Vojislav Kostunica, Minister of Energy and Mining Radomir Naumov, Minister of Trade, Tourism and Services Bojan Dimitrijevic and Deputy Foreign Minister of Serbia-Montenegro Predrag Boskovic will also visit Timisoara, where they will meet with representatives of the Serbian community and the Timisoara mayor.
