Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Tomislav Momirovic opened today the 42nd International Nautical, Hunting and Fishing Fair at the Belgrade Fairgrounds and stated that nautical tourism is the future of Serbia and that our country uses only a part of its potential for the development of this type of tourism.

Momirovic specified that this is first and foremost the potential on the rivers of Danube, Tisza and Sava and that more investments will be made in that field in the coming period.
With the aim of maximising the use of the tourist potential of our rivers, the Serbian government, in association with the Agency for Port Management, has taken numerous measures to build infrastructure for passenger cruisers, Momirovic said.
The Minister said that Serbia will invest €500 million in the development of water transport and water corridors.
The International Nautical, Hunting and Fishing Fair, which is being held under the slogan “Sail out, cast, catch”, will last until 11 April and is intended for lovers and users of all kinds of vessels, water sports and diving, hunting and fishing equipment, nautical, camping and follow-up equipment.
The fair has gathered around 100 exhibitors, of which 10 are from abroad.
