She emphasised that we have started the procedure of preparing draft laws and bylaws by which the reform of the judiciary, envisaged by the amendments to the Constitution, will be applied in the legal system of Serbia.
Joksimovic and Giaufret discussed the plans for programming IPA 3 for the next period, primarily the project proposals contained in the IPA 2022 Action Document, which should support key reform activities of Serbia.
The officials emphasised the common commitment that, after all the key elements of the project proposals have been defined, the financing of those from the pre-accession funds will be continued, which will be focused on the Green Agenda, primarily on environmental protection and the fight against climate change. on infrastructure projects.
They will also be aimed at those who focus on further public administration reform, support for EU membership negotiations, improvement of social protection, health policy and education and employment policy.
The realization of the Investment Framework for the Western Balkans was also discussed, which has so far approved the financing of 21 projects in our region, in the field of transport, energy, digital, climate and social infrastructure with a total value of over 3.2 billion euros.
Of this amount, 1.06 billion euros is a grant from the European Union, while the rest will be provided by EU member states, Norway, as well as international financial institutions through soft loans.
It was pointed out in the conversation that Serbia was approved seven projects, worth approximately 885 million euros, of which the EU non-refundable aid amounts to around 215 million.
