Minister of Economy Andjelka Atanaskovic and Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic and Minister of Economy Richard Sulik co-chaired the tenth session of the Mixed Commission for Economic Cooperation in Bratislava today.
Atanaskovic expressed the expectation that the proposals and suggestions presented at this session will lead to the realization of joint projects in the near future and that all issues will be resolved in a constructive, but above all in a friendly atmosphere.
She stated that the bilateral relations between Serbia and Slovakia are very good, based on stable and long-term bases, with a high degree of agreement on issues of bilateral cooperation.
The economic relations between the two countries are significantly improving, which illustrates the continuous increase in the volume of trade exchange in the last few years and the increased interest and positioning of Slovak investors in Serbia, the Minister pointed out.
Atanaskovic expressed gratitude for the continuous support that Slovakia provides to Serbia's foreign policy priorities, membership in the European Union and defence of territorial integrity.
Sulik conveyed that concrete agreements were reached today.
