The delegation of the Ministry of Economy, led by Atanaskovic, is on a two-day official visit to Bratislava on the occasion of the mentioned business forum and the 10th session of the Mixed Commission for Economic Cooperation between Serbia and Slovakia.
Opening the Business Forum, organised by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Agency for Investment and Trade Development (SARIO), Atanaskovic pointed out that the government of Serbia, by implementing reform activities and significant changes in the investment framework, contributes to creating an attractive economic environment, which opens space for the arrival of even more investors.
The goal of the government of Serbia is further economic strengthening as well as maintaining economic stability, the Minister stated and added that the growth of industry and investment in infrastructure are the main drivers of economic development, which enabled our country to act as one of the regional leaders in attracting foreign investments.
According to her, this investment environment in Serbia has been influenced by political and economic stability, availability of highly educated and highly qualified labor force, competitive operating costs, optimal geographical location, financial benefits and incentives.
During her stay in Bratislava, Atanaskovic also had a bilateral meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic and Minister of Economy Richard Sulik.
