Brnabic expressed satisfaction that a fair like this is being organised for the first time, because it is important that universities, state administration bodies and independent bodies create a single mechanism together in which the best young people will be trained to work in public administration.
Public administration is one of the key preconditions for a better quality of life for citizens, but also for a stronger economy, the Prime Minister said, recalling that in 2015 the comprehensive reform of public administration began in order to turn into a true service for all citizens and the economy, and that requires quality staff.
She called on students to join this initiative in great numbers and express their interest in working in public administration, in order to help further reform the society, strengthen the economy, and make Serbia achieve more progress.
The fair was opened by Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Marija Obradovic, who said that the steps ahead of us require a strong and modern public administration, and above all young and educated people, who will bring new ideas and much needed new energy.
At the fair that will last today and tomorrow, 18 public administration bodies - 13 state bodies and five local self-governments will offer professional practice for 400 students from five state universities.
