Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, today visited the reconstructed village clinic and the new road in the village of Rataje near Vranje, the construction of which was initiated by the villagers through the Office of the Regional Representative of the Prime Minister’s Office in Vranje.

On that occasion, Macut emphasised that this was another confirmation that the state listens to the citizens, assessing that this is how the state should function – quickly, responsibly and for the benefit of the people.
According to him, in less than three months, the documentation was prepared, funds were secured and work began, and the residents of this village have a better connection with the city thanks to the construction of the road.
The Prime Minister also visited the renovated health clinic in the village of Rataje, which can now fully meet the healthcare needs of the residents of this village.
The goal is for our citizens in every part of the country to have equal living, healthcare and education conditions, Macut emphasised, adding that the state will continue to invest in local communities because, as he stressed, a strong Serbia begins precisely in its villages and towns.
