Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said today that the introduction of new services makes life even easier for citizens and that the state should serve as a service to citizens 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
Brnabic, who attended the promotion of the e-Certificate service in the Second Basic Court in Belgrade, pointed out that citizens no longer have to leave work and wait in lines in front of the courts to get the necessary documents because the state will provide them with that service at any time.
The Prime Minister emphasised that the state has completed a huge job and that the new services are very important because they improve the efficiency of the judiciary.
This reduces the administrative and bureaucratic work so that the employees in the courts can deal with other things and in that way increase the efficiency of the judiciary, the Prime Minister stated.
Three new services are available on the eGovernment portal, which enable the electronically to be convinced with just a few clicks that no criminal proceedings are being conducted against a natural or legal person, as well as that the legal person has not been convicted.
The new services were developed by the Government of Serbia, the Ministry of Justice and the Office for IT and eGovernment with the aim of making it easier for citizens to obtain these documents.
The presentation of the service was also attended by Minister of Justice Maja Popovic, Director of the Office for IT and eGovernment Mihailo Jovanović and President of the Second Basic Court Tatjana Jeremic.
