It was stated at the session that in the second quarter, all industries are recording progress, including the food industry, which has stagnated in the previous period.
Exports are also recovering and recording positive trends, and when it comes to unemployment, there is no fear that the number of unemployed will increase after the expiry of the three-month state aid measures - an increase in employment has been recorded.
The participants in the session said that a large growth of industry and processing industry was noted during April, and that no dangers have been detected so far that could significantly jeopardise the projected GDP growth.
They also stated that the areas that experienced the biggest decline in 2020, such as tourism, traffic and air traffic, began to revive.
The results of the most important economic indicators in all economic areas are better than expected, and among them the construction sector is leading, which is in a good cycle that will not stop until the end of the year.
After the end of the session of the Council for Coordination of Activities and Measures for GDP Growth, a session of the Commission for Capital Projects was held, which is also chaired by the Prime Minister.
It was said at the session that it is a mechanism that will monitor the progress of all projects from the starting idea to realisation, specifically of those whose value is over €5 million and which are part of the "Serbia 2025" programme.
