By sectors, ore and stone mining rose 14.3 percent, the processing industry rose 7.6 percent, while the production and distribution of electricity, gas, and water dropped 2.2 percent against last year’s average.
The output of capital goods in September 2005 rose against the 2004 average, of intermediate goods, except for energy, by 20 percent, of durable consumer goods by 15.2 percent and of non-durable consumer goods by 8.2 percent, while the production of capital goods and energy fell 19.9 and 2.1 percent, respectively.
In the period between January and September 2005, industrial production fell 0.3 percent against the same period in 2004. The decline has been recorded in 17 areas making up 32 percent of total industrial production, and the increase in 12 areas which account for 68 percent of total industrial output.
