Minister of the Interior Aleksandar Vulin and US Ambassador to Serbia Anthony Godfrey attended today the final exercise of members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit (SAJ) and the Special Unit of the US Army - Green Berets.

On that occasion, Vulin said that our security forces do not lag behind their colleagues in training, motivation and courage, adding that such joint trainings are important because they contribute to increasing the efficiency of our forces.
On behalf of the Government of the USA, Godfrey congratulated the participants in the exercise on joint work, recalling that this is the sixth joint exercise of the American forces for special operations and SAJ.
In the event of a terrorist attack, people should know that the members of these two units have the necessary skills and knowledge to defeat terrorists and save people, he pointed out and said that the two countries will continue to build and strengthen relations in the future.
The United States and Serbia have the same fundamental values, which we share with our friends throughout a free and united Europe, Godfrey said.
