Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs and President of the Committee for Nurturing the Traditions of the Liberation Wars of Serbia Darija Kisic Tepavcevic laid a wreath at the Monument to Children today, on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of NATO Aggression killed in the NATO aggression in Belgrade's Tasmajdan Park.

On that occasion, she pointed out that during the 78 days of NATO aggression, numerous attacks were carried out on civilian and military targets, that innocent people were killed, as well as that significant material damage was suffered and the environment was damaged.
Lost lives are the biggest loss for each of us and that is something we must never forget, the minister said, adding that the suffering of children and their tears are the most painful and most moving for every person.
The monument is dedicated to the memory of the children who died in the period from 24 March to 10 June 1999.
