€2.5 million to be invested in Krusevac health centre

Serbian Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic said today that €2.5 million, secured through a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB), will be invested in the reconstruction of the Krusevac health centre.

During his visit to Krusevac, Milosavljevic said that €1.5 million will go for the reconstruction of existing capacities, while €1 million will be set aside for procurement of necessary equipment.
Milosavljevic pointed out that this is one of the 20 health centres in Serbia in which the reconstruction process, financed through the EIB’s loans, is about to begin or is already in progress.
According to Milosavljevic, this investment will make the Krusevac health centre more efficient in providing health services to its beneficiaries, as well in implementing preventive measures.
The minister recalled that so far 4.3 million dinars have been invested in the reconstruction of an operation theatre in this health centre, and that three dialysis machines, a new ultrasonic scanner and parts for an X-ray machine have been bought.
