Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali signed today the Memorandum of understanding between the Serbian Ministry of Finance and the Chinese Ministry of Commerce on the establishment of a Working group for investment cooperation, which will contribute to the improvement of bilateral economic and trade relations between the two countries.

This document will also contribute to the strengthening of investment cooperation in various fields and the improvement of mechanism of that cooperation within the Mixed intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation of Serbia and China.
The focus of the Working group will be investment cooperation, cooperation in the field of infrastructure, facilitation of investments, regional investment cooperation and promotion of investment in the field of industry.
One of the tasks of the Working group will be the formation of a preliminary list of all joint projects supported by the Chinese government in Serbia, bilaterally or through various mechanisms for the purpose of preparation of a middle-term plan of cooperation until 2025, with the aim of improving cooperation and a more efficient realisation of all joint projects.
