Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Selakovic began today in Cyprus his first bilateral visit since he took office, with a meeting with President of the House of Representatives of that country Adamos Adamou.
On that occasion, Selakovic expressed his gratitude to Cyprus for its principled support to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, as well as for its support to our country on its European path.
He reiterated Serbia's position on the Cyprus issue, for which the hosts thanked him.
Selakovic and Adamou assessed that Serbia and Cyprus have friendly and fraternal relations, but that there is potential for improving cooperation.
The Minister also met with President of the Diplomatic Office of the President of Cyprus Kyriakos Kouros, during which the interlocutors reiterated their positions on open issues that Serbia and Cyprus have individually, but also confirmed that the two countries have friendly relations.
