Serbian Minister of Justice Zoran Stojkovic answered citizens’ questions on the phone today concerning the field of judiciary and he expressed readiness to help resolve their problems.
Most of the complaints were about the functioning of courts and slow proceedings.
Stojkovic told reporters that a lot of complaints concerned certain municipal courts in Serbia and he promised that the Ministry’s supervisory department will perform its supervisory rights to help speed up proceedings.
He said that most of these cases are long-standing ownership disputes and he called on the citizens who telephoned the ministry to submit the file numbers of cases for urgent resolution.
