Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica, Minister of Energy and Mining Radomir Naumov and Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Policy Slobodan Lalovic talked today with union representatives of the Kolubara mining basin. The talks concerned the restructuring of this public company, as well as all issues of essential importance for Kolubara.
It was agreed at the meeting that the Kolubara Metal factory is of vital importance for Serbia’s energy system, and should therefore get special attention.
It was also agreed that in the course of the following week, Minister Lalovic will organise a meeting to try to solve problems that disabled workers are faced with, which are especially noticeable in the Serbian Electric Power Company (EPS).
The meeting was also attended by Director of EPS Vladimir Djordjevic, Director of the Kolubara mining basin Dragan Tomic and the presidents of Kolubara, Povrsinski Kopovi and Kolubara Metal unions, Milovan Rajkovic, Milan Djordjevic and Mihailo Simic respectively.
