The seminar will last until September 23, and Lajos Bokros, one of the World Bank directors and the Hungarian Ex-Finance Minister, will give a series of lectures on EU integration, reforms of the pension and health protection systems, structural reforms and privatisation processes, maintaining the balance of payments, Hungarian guidelines in customs and the impact of transition on the customs sector and the negotiating process.
The lectures are intended for the employees at the Ministry of Finance, to help them learn from the experience of other east European countries on how to solve problems that occur in the transition process.
