Serbia recognised as country with great potential

After meeting with European Parliament Rapporteur for Serbia Vladimir Bilcik, Joksimovic said that Serbia is recognised as an important partner and acceding country, and also as a future EU member state that will be able to contribute to the well-being of the Union.
She said that Bilcik will prepare a motion for the resolution in the coming months, which will be adopted by the European Parliament by the end of the year.
The Minister said that she spoke with Bilcik about the upcoming EU-Western Balkans summit to be held in Zagreb in May, as well as about a conference on the future of Europe, which should take place in next two years.
Joksimovic expressed her conviction that the developments in the EU will bring about a new enlargement policy, which can be more dynamic, but it can also slow down the process. That will depend on how the Member States will see the future of the EU and Europe.
