In the presence of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, the eastern arm of Corridor 10 across the Bulgarian border was officially opened today.
The ceremony officially marked the end of the works on that corridor, whose total length through Serbia is 813 km.
President Vucic previously met Borisov on the other side of the Bancarevo tunnel and together they drove through that tunnel 881 metres long.
He emphasised that we will not stop on this, adding that we will be able to say we have created a successful and certainly the most beautiful country in the Balkans.
Borisov said that the opening of the eastern arm of Corridor 10 would bring Western and Eastern Europe together.
Until December 1st, driving along the eastern arm of Corridor 10, from Nis to Dimitrovgrad, will be free of charge for 86.9 km, after which the toll will amount to RSD 1,200.
The total length of the entire Corridor 10 in Serbia is approximately 813 km, and its eastern branch from Nis to Dimitrovgrad is 86.9 km in total.
