Joksimovic reiterated that our country's clear pro-European commitment is confirmed, among other things, by the implementation of reforms, but also by a strong commitment to the entire accession process.
The Minister also said that a recent opinion poll showed that 53% of those polled support Serbia's EU membership, and 68% support reform.
Joksimovic expressed her expectation that by the end of the year, during Finland's presidency of the EU Council, our country would open some of the chapters that are technically ready.
She assessed that the credibility of the enlargement policy, which should continue to be among the priorities of the EU institutions, would be thus best confirmed.
The Minister pointed out that Serbia is oriented towards regional cooperation and insists on affirmation of values that are in the function of peace, development and progress.
McAllister conveyed the positive perception and reputation that Serbia has as an important factor of stability due to the efforts being made for the stability of the region.
