The three officials pointed out that the Serb people, who suffered the most in the wars of the past century, have exceptional moral obligations to see that all war crimes are solved and punished.
For that reason, all war crimes committed against members of other ethnicities during the civil war as well as those in Srebrenica were severely condemned in the meeting.
All the crimes committed against the Serb people were also condemned and it was stressed that war crimes committed during the ‘Bljesak’ and ‘Oluja’ operations and in Sarajevo, Tuzla, Bratunac are still unresolved and unpunished.
During the meeting several aspects were discussed, including the individuality of action and responsibility for these crimes and the need to punish for every crime committed so that future crime will be prevented.
Participants in the meeting agreed that the current model of cooperation with the Hague tribunal has yielded significant results and they pointed out that the cooperation will continue so as to resolve the issue of meeting international obligations in full.
The importance of full abidance by the Dayton Accord, the main guarantor of stability in Bosnia-Herzegovina, was also stressed in the meeting.
The talks also covered economic issues and both sides expressed interest in increasing the cooperation, agreeing that contact between the two governments should be stepped up in order to improve cooperation in the field of economy.
Serbian Minister of Interior Dragan Jocic, Republika Srpska Minister of Interior Darko Matijasevic, and Serbian Minister of Economy Predrag Bubalo also attended the meeting.
