Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said today that the government of Serbia invested RSD 212 million in the construction of a new heating plant in Senta, from which more than 4,000 households receive heating.
Brnabic, who during the today's visit to Senta delivered a report on the handover to the Mayor Rudolf Cegledija, pointed out that the construction of this facility was a result of the joint work of the government of Serbia, the Provincial Government and local self-government, adding that the entire project was completed in eight months.
According to Brnabic, the other great thing that was done in Senta is the renovated Senta Gymnasium building, which had not been reconstructed since 1906.
Brnabic, who also visited the high school today, said that the Serbian government invested RSD 182 million in the aforementioned facility.
She emphasised that this is not only an important building in the educational system, but also has a huge importance as a monument to the culture of our history and tradition.
In Senta, reconstruction of the Health Centre was completed, in which the government of Serbia invested RSD 33 million, said Brnabic, adding that the government of Serbia is working with the provincial government and local self-government on four more projects in that municipality.
The Prime Minister stated that there are no cities, municipalities and towns of the first, second or third priority for the government of Serbia, but that they are all equally important.
Cegledi expressed his gratitude to the government of Serbia for helping to build a new heating plant and reconstructing the gymnasium building in Senta, and pointed out that this municipality alone would not be able to implement these projects.
