Also as part of today’s session, the government adopted the Information on the need to set up a working group on transport and telecommunications in order to continue the planned dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
The government approved 77 million dinars from the current budgetary reserves for financing the activities of the Coordinating Centre for Kosovo-Metohija the return of displaced persons to Kosovo-Metohija.
The government also decided to establish a working group to organise the controls of cross-border transport of goods with the aim of preventing illegal transport of goods by roads without border crossings. The decision is based of recommendations of the EU.
The government adopted the Decision on changes and amendments to the Decision on restoring import duties that abolish the incentives for exports of food and drinks to Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Also, the government adopted a decision on changing the Decision on criteria for defining import quotas for certain goods.
The government authorised state oil and gas company NIS to import 30,000 tonnes of diesel D-2, with the aim of maintaining Serbia’s energy balance.
The government also adopted the Information on the need to join the Agreement on setting up an agency for information on international trade and cooperation, as part of the process of Serbia’s accession to the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
Also, the government approved 1.1 million dinars from the budgetary reserves for funding the activities of the Serbian Constitutional Court.
Also as part of the session, the government gave its consent to the statute of the state power utility EPS as well as to the 2005 business plan of the state broadcasting corporation RTS.
