Speaking about the judicial situation in southern Serbia, Stojkovic said that the Justice Ministry is endeavouring to find solutions to current problems, as well as to include ethnic Albanians in institutional systems in southern Serbia.
The Minister of Justice recalled that six candidates of Albanian nationality from this part of the country have recently passed their bar examinations in Belgrade, and added that there are no obstacles to recognising their diplomas that have already been certified by the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK).
Stojkovic said that he expects to see a greater response on the part of ethnic Albanians to job announcements for the position of a magistrate in Presevo municipality, and announced that the new systematisation in judiciary in the south of Serbia will leave space for more job vacancies and will ensure that the principle of bilingualism is respected.
The Minister of Justice voiced hope that political problems will be overcome and that ethnic Albanians will apply for job vacancies in judicial bodies.
He also visited Vranje where he talked with the municipality representatives about current issues and problems.
