Minister of Justice Nela Kuburovic signed today in Berlin a Protocol on Cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and the chambers of notaries public of Serbia and Germany, which will improve the position of the notary public.
Kuburovic explained that the document will improve the work of public notaries in Serbia, primarily through strengthening of digitization, which will facilitate and accelerate the procedures for registering property in the cadastre.
She underlined that the cooperation between Germany and Serbia is continuous, and once again expressed gratitude for the great support that Serbia had from Germany in the establishment of the notary public system in our country.
President of the German Federal Chamber of Notaries Jens Bormann stressed that the good functioning of the notary public system is a prerequisite for the good functioning of the economy itself.
It is very important to have a functional cadastre system, as well as functional legal advice by notaries public, which is one of the key factors for economic development both of Germany and Serbia, he stated.
