At the gathering, which gathered representatives of companies from two countries, Popovic stressed that the main goal of the forum is to enable Serbian businessmen to have a better environment for business, because they are those who employ and raise the standard of living of citizens.
On the margins of the forum, Popovic held a bilateral meeting with Slovak Minister of Economy Peter Ziga, with whom he discussed ways to improve economic cooperation, as well as the possibility of attracting Slovak investments to Serbia.
Ziga said that there are no open issues between the two countries, which enables dialogue and cooperation on issues such as IT sector, innovation and business.
As part of a two-day visit to Slovakia, the Minister will take part tomorrow at the eighth plenary session of the International Committee for Economic Cooperation of Serbia and Slovakia.
