Serbia, Romania guarantee peace, stability throughout Balkans

Belgrade/Bucharest, 31 May 2018

Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin and Prime Minister of Romania Viorica Dancilo, during today's meeting in Bucharest said that Serbia and Romania guarantee peace and stability throughout the Balkans.

Once again, we confirmed the principled position of Romania when it comes to Kosovo-Metohija and their strong support for international law and Resolution 1244, as well as, of course, the talks as the only model with the support of both Romania and Serbia when it comes to Kosovo, the minister added.

Vulin also met with Romanian Defence Minister Mihai Viorel Fifor, who expressed gratitude for his great efforts and friendship towards Serbia.

After the meeting, Vulin said that the Romanian Prime Minister underlined that without a safe and stable Serbia, there could be neither safe nor stable Balkans, without which, as such, Europe would not be on the path of development and progress.
