Real GDP in Q1 increases 4.5%

The Statistics Office stated that in the first quarter of 2018, real GDP increased by 4.5% in comparison to the corresponding period of the previous year.
The calculation of quarterly GDP for the 1st quarter 2018, which is more detailed and compiled at lower levels of aggregation by deflation method, will be published in statistical release Quarterly GDP in the Republic of Serbia on May 31, 2018.
The flash estimate is obtained by extrapolation, applying a single - indicator method and combining the indicators of outputs and inputs.
Starting from 1999 the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia has not at disposal and may not provide available certain data relative to AP Kosovo and Metohia and therefore these data are not included in the coverage for the Republic of Serbia (total).
