During the meeting, Dolidze said that Georgia wants to use the experience of Serbia in the process of European integration so far, and Joksimovic assessed that this was an acknowledgment for the work of Serbia on the European path to date.
Joksimovic expressed her gratitude to her interlocutor for not recognising Kosovo's unilaterally declared independence, adding that this is also the position of Serbia when it comes to territorial sovereignty of Georgia.
The Eastern Partnership in the Neighbourhood Policy of the EU has adopted a more differentiated approach to certain countries (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Belarus, Armenia and Ukraine), and it would be good if the EU would apply such an approach to the countries of the Western Balkans more, where there are also significant political, economic and other differences.
