Serbia, Turkey sign 12 cooperation agreements

Representatives of the governments of Serbia and Turkey signed 11 cooperation agreements in Belgrade today, after the presidents of the two countries, Aleksandar Vucic and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, signed a joint political Declaration on the establishment of the High Council for Cooperation between Serbia and Turkey.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic and Turkish Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci signed the Revised Free Trade Agreement between Serbia and Turkey.

Ljajic and Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Fikri Isik signed a Memorandum on cooperation of the governments of Serbia and Turkey on the restoration of hammam on the Golubac Fortress.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic and Minister of Urban Planning and Environmental Protection of Turkey Mehmet Ozhaseki signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of urban planning between the two governments.

Mihajlovic and Turkey's Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Ahmet Arslan signed a Letter of Intent for strengthening and expanding cooperation in the field of transport.

Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Branislav Nedimovic and Turkish Minister of Forests and Water Management Veysel Eroglu signed two agreements on cooperation in the field of forestry and water management.

Vukosavljevic and Turkish Minister of the European Union Affairs Omer Celik signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two governments on the realisation of the restoration works on the Brace Krsmanovic Baths in Belgrade.

Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Zoran Djordjevic and Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Ahmet Esref Fakibaba signed the Protocol on Cooperation between the line ministry and the Turkish Agency for Coordination and Cooperation on the realisation of the project of building a new maternity home care facility for infants, children and youth from Belgrade.

Minister of Mining and Energy Aleksandar Antic and Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey Berat Albayrak signed a Letter of Intent in the field of energy.
