Serbia, Hungary example of good neighbourly cooperation

Minister for European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic said today that Hungary is an important partner of Serbia in the European integration process and that it is important and beneficial that the two countries cooperate and get connected in transport and energy sectors.

After meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto, Joksimovic said that precisely because of this, the certainty of the European road of Serbia is clearer and expressed the belief that, in addition to Hungary, this would be recognized in other member states too.

Szijjarto said that the interest of Hungary, but also of the European Union, is that Serbia becomes as soon as possible a member of the Union.
