Serbia, Germany important, reliable partners

Minister for European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic today talked with German Ambassador to Serbia Axel Dittmann on the relations between the two countries, the process of European integration and the reforms that are being implemented in Serbia.
At this meeting, Joksimovic expressed special thanks to Germany, as a strategic partner and the largest bilateral donor of Serbia, for the overall assistance and support in the process of European integration.
Over the past 15 years, Germany has allocated €1.6 billion grants for various projects.
She stated that Serbia is undoubtedly determined to continue the process of joining the European Union, and that in this sense, we see European integration as the best mechanism for the development of the state.
The Ambassador said that Germany is convinced that Serbia deserves a place in the European Union, giving our country clear support in the continuation of the accession process.
