Trivan assumes position of Minister of Environmental Protection

Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Branislav Nedimovic handed over his duties today to the new Minister of Environment Protection, Goran Trivan, to whom he expressed his full support in the management of the newly formed ministry.

Regarding the establishment of the Ministry of Environmental Protection as a separate department, I would like to thank all stakeholders in the field of ecology for their excellent cooperation, as well as inexhaustible work on capacity building, which should provide a healthier and clean future for the next generations, Nedimovic said.
The Minister also thanked the industrial sector for cooperation and demonstrated collective responsibility.
Nedimovic expressed full support to Goran Trivan in overcoming the challenges that are emerging through this important segment of social life.
